CVPC Minutes November 16, 2009

ATTENDEES: Andie, Susan, Sharon, Stephanie, and Tara

OPENING REMARKS

DC Report:
Thank you to Mitch and Susan for going to meeting Oct. 1st in Tacoma. DC Retreat Feb 26-28th 2010 in Whidbey Island. Stephanie and Angie will go. We need someone to be the librarian. (Stephanie)

SECRETARY REPORT

The minutes were read by Stephanie from the last meeting. They were approved as read and will be placed on file and on the website

TREASURER REPORT:

Will be read at next meeting since Angie was not present.

OLD BUSINESS:

We need to get Kerri the club policies and she still needs to revise them and forward them to all remembers. Kerri also needs from every one their hand written job descriptions.

NEW BUSINESS:

• : Discussed again the possibilities of Britt’s kids riding at John’s once a month. We may start this after the January. Andie is going to talk to Marc about lessons at Britt’s barn also maybe starting the 2nd weekend of Feb 2010.
• We came up with a few ideas for field trip/HM speakers: Pilchuck/OSU/Rescue field trips Maybe doing this during the summer on a week day. Christmas party-December 7th 2009 at the Lewis and Clark Building at 6pm. It will be a potluck style dinner and everyone needs to bring their own plates, utensils, and cups.
• Horse Management: It was decided that Britt’s kids would have their horse management done 1 time a month at her barn with her teaching them, and John’s kids would have their horse management at his barn 1 time a month with Marc teaching them. It will make it easier for all the kids to get their horse management in for the month if it was not on a week night when they are all so busy.
