CALLED MEETING TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Meeting called to order at 6:30 by Andie, DC
Role was taken and in attendance were:
Andie, Stephanie, Susan, Mindy, Angie, and Breezy.
DC REPORT
Andie thanked Steph and Ang for going to the Feb. DC retreat on Whidbey Island. Ang confirmed reservations today.
Andie is looking into another ribbon company that is local to do our ribbons for our show. This quote seemed to be high but still in negotiations.
New members ride nights-new members ride 2 times per month unless they volunteered their time at our horse show in 2009. If they chose to ride the 4 times a month like existing members then they will have to pay the ride fees to the instructor. Andie will find out from John what that will be. The rides at John’s barn once a month are paid by CVPC for existing members. Again if new members want to participate they will have to pay the ride fees.
SECRETARY REPORT
The minutes were read by Stephanie from the last meeting. They were approved as read and will be placed on file and on the website. 2010 Roster was done and Steph will resend it because no one was able to open the file.
TREASURER REPORT
Report: Read by Angie and on file. Angie gave report. She gave an update and discussed how our CVPC money will be spent for the 2010 year as far as the lessons go.
OLD BUSINESS
Kerry needs to revise club policies so Steph and Ang can take them to the DC retreat.
NEW BUSINESS
New national testing track as of Jan. 1st 2010-If a member who is rated HB and is at least 16 years old may take the HA test without first completing the C3. They would hold the title of H-HM rated members. If they go on to complete C3 they would be an H. Then if they complete the B they will be an HA.
The following kids would be interested in rating in the spring. D1- Tigi, Miki, & Abby. D2-Megan, Amya, & Erika. C1-Cassidy.
Andie is going to put a schedule together for the ride day at John’s barn Feb. 20th 2010. We set up tentative days for the upcoming months: March 13th, April 17th, & May 8th.
Ang will give insurance stuff to Britt and John.
The meeting was adjourned by Andie at 8:30 pm.
